Turlock vending machines burgled

A 37-year-old man caught breaking into vending machines was arrested over the weekend, Turlock police said.Drying Hammer Crusher suppliers Officers said they saw Shane Schmidt drilling into a vending machine at Cost Less Market on West Main Street early Saturday. When they approached, they said Schmidt tried to hide property behind the machine.Officers found a backpack full of quarters, a Dremel drill and a lock.

According to police, one vending machine had been emptied of its money and Schmidt was working on a second.
